Seven Goulston & Storrs Attorneys Named to Boston Magazine’s Top Lawyers List

Goulston & Storrs, an Am Law 200 firm, is pleased to announce that seven directors at the firm – Ned Abelson, Kelly Aylward, Martin Fantozzi, Elizabeth Levine, Carla Reeves, Douglas Rosner, and Richard Zielinski – have been named to Boston Magazine’s third annual Top Lawyers list. The attorneys were selected by their peers as being among the best and most recognized lawyers in the region for their excellence in legal work.

Goulston & Storrs’ attorneys were honored in the following categories:

Bankruptcy: Douglas Rosner is the leader of the firm’s nationally recognized Bankruptcy and Restructuring Group. He represents corporate debtors, unsecured creditors and creditors’ committees, lenders, landlords, asset purchasers, and trustees across the country and internationally in a wide range of bankruptcy matters including complex Chapter 11 reorganizations, Chapter 7 liquidations, workouts, and related litigation and transactions.

Labor and Employment: Elizabeth Levine is an employment lawyer and litigator with two decades of experience working with companies on management-side employment and operational matters, and defending organizations in employment-based litigation. Carla Reeves is an employment lawyer and litigator who advises clients across a wide range of industries on day-to-day workplace matters and represents companies and organizations in litigation of employment and other business disputes. Land Use Environment: Ned Abelson is a nationally recognized environmental lawyer known for his expertise in Brownfields redevelopment, transactional work (including lab leasing), and environmental insurance. Professional Malpractice Non-Medical Defense: Richard Zielinski is a nationally known “bet the company” trial lawyer who handles a wide range of complex, high-stakes commercial litigation, with a particular expertise in legal malpractice defense. He represents major law firms throughout the United States in malpractice cases, disciplinary matters, and intra-firm disputes.

Real Estate: Martin Fantozzi is a litigator with more than 25 years of experience counseling public and private REITs, investment firms, lenders, property management and brokerage firms, retailers, and academic hospitals and universities on disputes related to land use, zoning, construction, and other real property issues.

Trusts & Estates: Kelly Aylward is a trusts and estates lawyer with nearly two decades of sophisticated estate planning and tax law experience. In addition to administering trusts and estates for her clients, she focuses her practice on designing and implementing customized estate, asset protection, business, and charitable plans for high-net-worth individuals, families, and businesses that want to protect wealth for future generations.
