Goulston & Storrs, an Am Law 200 firm, is pleased to announce that Rachel Greenberg has joined the firm’s Real Estate Group as a senior attorney in its Boston office. Greenberg counsels general contractors, specialty contractors, and other construction industry participants in contract matters and disputes, helping them safeguard their interests, mitigate risk, and resolve issues that affect their projects and businesses.
Greenberg advises clients on contract negotiations, bid protests, contract disputes, mechanic’s liens, and Prompt Pay Act claims. She represents clients in state and federal courts and before agencies when disputes cannot be resolved through negotiation.
Greenberg’s practice also includes bankruptcy matters, helping companies pursue claims against debtors’ estates and defend against claim objections and other adversary proceedings. She also advises commercial real estate lenders on risks and remedies when borrowers default and has defended them in court enforcement actions.
“Rachel brings a strong understanding of the challenges facing stakeholders and how issues can affect a project, a business, and the relationships behind them,” said Cecilia Gordon, director and co-chair of the firm’s Real Estate Group. “Clients rely on Rachel’s experience and practical guidance to assess their risk, protect their interests, and make informed decisions as challenges arise. We look forward to working with Rachel as she contributes her perspective to the complex matters our clients face.”
Prior to joining Goulston & Storrs, Greenberg handled commercial litigation, real estate, asset recovery, and insurance defense matters at a regional law firm.
“Goulston & Storrs’ strength and renowned real estate practice were major reasons I wanted to join the firm,” said Greenberg. Its work often brings together real estate, construction, and litigation, creating a dynamic environment where I can draw on my experience to help clients navigate complex disputes and protect their interests. I’m excited to contribute to that work and collaborate with such a talented team.”
Greenberg earned her J.D. from Boston University School of Law and her B.A., magna cum laude, from the College of the Holy Cross. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Florida.
